Description
In northwest Guatemala, the Huehuetenango region stands out as one of the country's most prestigious coffee terroirs. Protected from humid winds by the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes and blessed with a unique microclimate, it offers sunny days and cool nights, ideal for the slow ripening of the cherries.
Grown between 1,650 and 2,000 m above sea level, this single-origin coffee expresses the typical characteristics of this high plateau: a lively, elegant acidity and a silky body. The light roasting reveals a gentle aromatic complexity, where notes of grape, cinnamon, and pear, carried by the Bourbon and Catuai varieties, intertwine.
Produced using a fully washed process, this coffee offers a cup of remarkable purity, reflecting the ancestral know-how and exceptional terroir of Huehuetenango and in homage to the work accomplished by our partners in this region.
